Spidey!

Spiderman building complete with road sign, bench and newspaper, trash can, and a white chocolate web. This cake is 6 layers of double chocolate cake sandwiched with chocolate ganache buttercream. Everything is edible and all handmade, except for the Spiderman action figure on top of the tar roof.

Rainbow Layer Cake

This cake is just as fun on the inside when you cut into it as it is to color and decorate on the outside! I gave the birthday girl a blank canvas of white fondant and a pack of edible food coloring markers, and she was so thrilled with what she made. For her party, I made basic sugar cookies with a fondant round for all of the kids to color as well. I LOVE this idea for a birthday party...even for an adult! (Original idea found at sweetapolita).

All three cakes are vanilla and almond with raspberry filling and classic buttercream, and ALL IN PINK. The cake balls are the same with some vanilla buttercream, and some with cream cheese buttercream. Anything that you bite into will also be pink on the inside! Please go down to the Knothole to donate and eat some cake! The main cakes can be taken for a donation of $25-$50, and take a bag of cake balls for $5. Enjoy!

Pacman Party!

Happy Birthday to my dear friend who was born in 1981! The whole party was decorated in a 1981 theme; pacman, skittles, gummi worms...and so many more things that were popular that year. All of the cupcakes are carrot cake with cream cheese icing, dressed up with fondant. (The pacman game made of cupcakes was based on an idea from "hellonaomi").

Daisies Daisies...and more Daisies

Before...

and

After!

Another daisy cake! No, you are not seeing double, I had another request for my previous gerbera daisy cake, so this is number two. Same concept, same flavors, same time and detail on all of the handmade gerbers, but this time for an 80th birthday party paired with fifty matching cupcakes. I tied this cake up in pretty pink ribbon and added a butterfly right on top. Happy Birthday!!

Happy Birthday!!!

Happy Birthday Ayzlynn!!

Cake request was for dolphins, the colors pink and green, and to include that the birthday girl, (turning 26), had just been married. (She has a pink diamond wedding ring...around dolphin fin).  I threw this together quite quickly, but I think it turned out well!
